A number of persons have been commenting and complaining about issues with the wedding Cake. A quick search turned up a notification sent out by Zynga. Here is a note from Zynga, the makers of Cafe World.

We are aware of some problems with Wedding Cakes losing some progress, and are currently investigating this issue. Please be patient while our development team looks into the cause of this problem, and works toward a solution.
The complaints centered around, clicks to help not being registered and the progress of the cake not updating or retrograding.
Interestingly, the Cafe was down for maintenance last night and hopefully that was an issue being addressed. Hopefully Cafe World will correct the issues quickly and "allow the wedding to proceed".
Ya the issues seem to get solved , but again its back with same problem. I was at level 98% complete, now am back to 74% ... whats the matter?
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem! I was in icing already and now I'm back again to the third layer, and is not the first time that happens, I'm getting really tired of this game :(
ReplyDeleteSorry, not fixed. Mine has lost progress again today...why put these special events on if you cannot ensure it works in a fair and proper manner. My neices neighbour had 14 cakes completed HOW is what I would like to know I cant even get one!!!!!!!!!!!! FIX THIS OR DONT COMMENCE SUCH EVENTS............
ReplyDeleteThis has been happening to me for over a week now , I've e-mailed Zynga but they didn't even bother to get back. I've had the third layer finshed and half way through the icing so many times I've lost count but once more I'm back to 2nd layer and 54% complete.
ReplyDeleteI mailed Zynga as well. No response in over a week. I finished icing after losing 15 friends progress. This morning all the icing was gone.
ReplyDeleteThat is the frustrating part ... no response from help. Mine can't get past 80%. Emailed them three times. They could post a message like they did with Farmville problems. So I know they just don't hate me. The hate is even worse for people losing progress. :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah me too, I'm about to stop wasting an hour a day on my stupid cafe... I was almost done (I don't know why I'm so excited about finishing this stupid wedding cake but apparently I am, I should probably just go outside and do something) and now I am minus a zillion percent progress yet again and I don't want to do this anymore.. wah

ReplyDeleteThe problem is not fixed by any means! My cake was completed last week and was in my cafe for several days the message i believe said "come back soon". Well Wednesday I logged in and I was robbed! both cakes were gone I assumed the Bride picked it up unexpectedly, thing is there wasn't a thank you note or anything from "the alleged bride". So now everyday I log in I'm back to the first tier of baking, this is ridiculous I used cafe cash to purchase some of the ingredients, the least they could do is address and post status on the return of the illlusive cake!
ReplyDeleteI was sick of trying to collect ingredients to finish the cake so I paid 25 Cafe Cash to complete. All good... until the next day when suddenly it was back at 22% and of course my Cafe Cash was still gone!!! I emailed Zynga and they were very prompt getting back to me and also reimbursed me my 25 Cafe Cash. But now I'm unsure when this will be fixed and also when the completion date is ... I don't want to spend Cafe Cash again until I know it's going to work!
